Infrared light warms the body rather than the surrounding air, creating a deep and comfortable heat at lower temperatures. Because the heat is directed straight to the body instead of first heating the entire room, energy is used more efficiently. The panels can be used without preheating. If you wish to achieve higher temperatures and a more traditional sauna experience, they should be combined with a sauna heater.
